Squikk App – Terms and Conditions

1. Eligibility

By signing up, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years old, or are using the app under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
• All information provided by you is true, complete, and accurate.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features of Squikk, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and current information during registration.
• Keep your login details, OTPs, and account credentials confidential.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or suspicious activity on your account.
• Be responsible for all activity conducted through your account.

Squikk will not be responsible for any loss caused by your failure to protect your account details.

3. Consent to Communication

By signing up, you agree that Squikk may contact you through SMS, WhatsApp, email, push notifications, or phone calls for:

• OTP verification
• Booking confirmations and reminders
• Service updates
• Promotional offers
• Feedback and customer support

You may opt out of promotional messages where permitted by law, but you may still receive important service-related communications.

4. Personal Data and Privacy

By using Squikk, you consent to the collection, storage, use, and processing of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. This may include your name, phone number, email address, address, booking history, preferences, service requests, images you upload, and any other information needed to provide the services.

You agree that we may use this information to:

• Create and manage your account
• Confirm bookings and provide services
• Improve customer experience
• Prevent fraud and misuse
• Comply with legal obligations

If you upload photos, notes, skin/hair/beauty preferences, or other personal information, you authorize Squikk to use it for service recommendations and fulfillment.

5. Use of the App

You agree not to:

• Misuse the app or attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt it
• Submit false, abusive, defamatory, or illegal content
• Create fake accounts or impersonate another person
• Use Squikk for unlawful purposes
• Interfere with bookings, service partners, or other customers

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you have violated these Terms.

6. Bookings, Services, and Availability

Squikk helps you book beauty and personal care services such as facial, cleanup, manicure, pedicure, hair styling, waxing, nails, saree draping, mehendi, massage, and other services that may be added from time to time.

Service availability may vary based on location, time slot, service partner availability, and operational conditions. We do not guarantee that every service will be available in every area at all times.

7. Service Partners

Some services may be performed by third-party beauticians, salons, freelancers, or service partners (“Service Partners”). In such cases:

• Squikk may facilitate the booking but may not itself perform the service.
• Service quality, timing, and delivery may depend on the Service Partner.
• Squikk may help coordinate support, but the final responsibility for service execution may lie with the Service Partner, subject to applicable law and our policies.

8. Health, Safety, and Suitability

You are responsible for informing us and the Service Partner about any relevant allergies, skin sensitivity, medical condition, pregnancy, injuries, or other concerns that may affect the service.

You acknowledge that certain beauty or personal care services may involve products, tools, or techniques that can cause irritation or discomfort. Squikk is not responsible for adverse reactions caused by undisclosed conditions, incorrect information, or failure to follow service instructions.

9. Pricing and Payments

All prices shown on the app are subject to change without prior notice, unless otherwise stated.

By placing an order or booking, you agree to pay the applicable fees, taxes, platform charges, convenience charges, and any other charges shown at checkout.

You agree that:

• Payments must be made through the payment methods supported by Squikk.
• Offers, discounts, and coupons may be limited, modified, or withdrawn at any time.
• Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our cancellation and refund policy.

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Bookings may be canceled or rescheduled based on our policy, service type, timing, and Service Partner availability.

We may charge a cancellation fee or deny refund in cases such as:

• Late cancellation
• Customer no-show
• Incorrect address or unreachable customer
• Service already started or completed
• Misuse of promotional offers

Specific cancellation terms may be shown before booking confirmation.

11. User Content

If you upload photos, feedback, reviews, ratings, or other content, you grant Squikk a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, display, and share such content for operational, promotional, and marketing purposes, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

You confirm that any content you upload does not violate anyone's rights and does not contain offensive, illegal, or misleading material.

12. Reviews and Ratings

You may be invited to rate your experience and leave feedback. Squikk may use reviews to improve services, quality, training, and customer experience.

We reserve the right to remove reviews that are abusive, fake, misleading, defamatory, or otherwise inappropriate.

13. Offers and Promotions

Any offer, coupon, referral benefit, or promotion may be modified, paused, or withdrawn by Squikk at any time without prior notice, unless otherwise required by law.

Offers may be subject to eligibility rules, minimum order value, location limits, and validity periods.

14. Intellectual Property

All app content, branding, designs, logos, text, graphics, software, and other materials used on Squikk are owned by or licensed to Squikk.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of Squikk without our prior written consent.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Squikk will not be liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity
• Service delays caused by factors beyond our control
• Acts, omissions, or conduct of Service Partners or third parties

Our total liability, where applicable, will be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim, subject to applicable law.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if:

• You violate these Terms
• We suspect fraudulent, abusive, or harmful activity
• Required by law or regulatory direction
• The account remains inactive for a long period, where applicable

You may also stop using Squikk at any time by deleting your account, subject to any pending obligations.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted in the app or on our website with the revised effective date. Continued use of Squikk after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with Squikk shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi, India.
